Liverpool groove pop band All We Are were the toast of the town tonight at an exclusive playback of their debut album at the Aloft Hotel.
The trio, who studied at LIPA and are signed to Domino Records’ subsidiary Double Six, performed stripped back tracks from their eponymous debut album out on Monday February 2.
All We Are, who are made up of Brazilian guitarist Luis Santos, Norwegian bass player Guro Gikling and Irish drummer Richard O’Flynn, have been regulars on the Liverpool music scene for the last few years.
However, having evolved from a budding folk band, they’ve honed their harmony-laden funk sound while touring the globe playing numerous festivals and last year were nominated for Liverpool music prize, The GIT Award, performing at the ceremony at the Kazimier.
Record industry heads, label representatives and guests were also treated to a playback of the album in full at the new Dale Street Hotel which opened last November.
